First and foremost, Katie was blessed with the role of becoming a mother in 2023, and her little boy is the joy of her life. She is also currently a third-semester nursing student at Murray State University. She has always had a passion for helping and caring for others, which is what led her to pursue nursing. Alongside school, she works at GeriHab Physical Therapy, where she has the opportunity to work alongside some amazing people and learn from the patients and healthcare professionals around her.
She is currently pursuing her nursing degree at Murray State University and is in her third semester of the nursing program. Her experience working at GeriHab Physical Therapy has allowed her to gain valuable experience working with patients, communicating with healthcare professionals, and learning the importance of compassionate, individualized care.

What Does Katie Like About Working Here?
Katie loves working at GeriHab because of the people. She gets to work alongside an amazing team that genuinely cares about their patients and each other. She also enjoys being able to build relationships with patients and see their progress. It has been a great place for her to learn, grow, and gain experience while pursuing her nursing degree.
What Does Katie Enjoy Doing When She Is Not Working?
When Katie is not working or studying, she loves spending time with her little boy, who is the absolute joy of her life. She also enjoys horseback riding and camping. Being outdoors, spending time with family, and making memories with her son are some of her favorite things to do.
